How it works
In the bottled water calculator you choose how many people drink bottled water, how many litres a day, how much of it comes from bottles and which bottles you buy most. You can adjust the price per litre and the plastic weight of each bottle.
An example
For 2 adults drinking 1.5 L a day from 5.4 L jugs at €0.30 per litre, that is about €330 and more than 200 jugs a year. Small bottles almost always cost more per litre and use more plastic.
